Special focus is on the psychological assessment methods ability to predict the candidate’s future performance during four terms at the Police Academy, during six months as a trainee at a Police authority and during their first year as police officers. The project began in 2007 and is expected to end in 2013. In addition to the immediate utility for the Police selection in Sweden the project is expected to make valuable contributions to the Swedish as well as the international selection psychology, especially in the field of Police selection.
